What place did I choose to travel to?

It was April, May, I was given 4 days off by the company to celebrate April 30th, May 1st. Since I received the holiday notice quite early, I have prepared a plan, found out the place where I went, the distance traveled from Saigon, the weather where I went and finally I decided that I would go to Phu Quoc.

Around that time, Phu Quoc was in the dry season and was considered the time that tourists should come. Because when in the rainy season, all fun activities to visit in Phu Quoc will almost be limited by the dangers and risks that the weather can bring.

Therefore, one piece of advice that I want to give you is to choose the time of Phu Quoc in the dry season to visit and explore this place.

Why did I choose to go by motorbike?

For someone who loves to travel, explore every land, every countryside to be able to keep my moments, memories, so I chose a motorbike to be the means to move and accompanying me is the girl I love.

Walk together on all roads, taking photos together not only to mark the places we have visited but also to keep our moments and memories.

Besides, traveling by motorbike is also very convenient and you can be autonomous in time but not as comfortable as when you ride a bus, traveling in a group ...

My motorcycle journey Saigon - Phu Quoc

Day 1: Departure from Saigon

After preparing all the clothes, drinking water, some snacks and money, we started our trip at 3 am, so we could go to Phu Quoc at noon because according to what I found out, it will take about 9-10 hours by motorbike from Saigon to Phu Quoc.

Departing from District 1, we follow Phan Van Hon Street to National Highway 1A, then continue to move in the direction of Tan Tao - Cho Dem to enter Trung Luong Highway to enter the province of 829. Next, we will go by Nguyen Van Tiep and go straight to Highway 844 and turn right onto Route 30. Next, please go to the ferry terminal and take the ferry through Chau Doc city, An Giang province.

Then go straight to Highway 91 and get cheap right to the intersection with Highway 80 to reach Ha Tien city. And from Ha Tien City we took another ferry to get to the beautiful island of Phu Quoc. This journey took me 10 hours 45 minutes because it was a holiday so I had to wait for the ferry for a long time.

After coming to Phu Quoc we rented a beautiful homestay to eat and rest. My first day was like that.

Day 2: We go sightseeing at Sunworld Hon Thom tourist area

We move to An Thoi station and choose the cable car as the main means to move to this small island to save time.

When you arrive at An Thoi station, do not forget your phone, but take beautiful pictures for yourself because, with classical Roman architecture, An Thoi Station is a selfie place that cannot be missed...

After moving to Hon Thom, don't miss out on the games and activities here. Water park, floating house, kayaking, and especially diving to see coral are activities you cannot miss when coming to Hon Thom.

“What do we eat when coming to Hon Thom?” - This is definitely a question that appears frequently in your mind, so do not worry when there is a private Buffet area with a full range of Asian and European dishes for you to choose freely.

After playing around 3 pm, we started packing and boarding the cable car to return to the city to rest and close the second day of entertainment in Phu Quoc.

Day 3 We choose places near the city center to visit

After finishing breakfast, we packed our luggage and set off to visit Phu Quoc prison, also known as Coconut Tree Prison. This place is a place to keep patriotic revolutionary communists with multi-layered stone fences with dense barbed wire.

Then we moved to the workshop of wooden barrels to make Phu Quoc fish sauce. In Vietnam, Phu Quoc lucky country has always been extremely popular with consumers because of the quality it brings. Coming here, we were overwhelmed to see a system of systematic and methodical investment in fish sauce.

Then we moved to Ham Ninh fishing village to enjoy the delicious seafood here.

The third day of us happened like that.

Day 4 Say goodbye to Phu Quoc to return to Saigon

After breakfast, we took a moment to go shopping for souvenirs to bring back to our friends at home.

After that, we go back to the hotel to clean our things, check out, then have lunch together and say goodbye to beautiful Phu Quoc and return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Our journey to visit Phu Quoc by motorbike 4 days 3 nights like that. What a memorable experience!
