Day 1: Sai Gon motorbike tour to Cat Tien National Park (170 km ~Â 105 miles)
Depart from Saigon, the largest city in Vietnam. Enjoy the majestic ride through the hustle and bustle traffic of this dynamic city heading to Cat Lai ferry.
Continue your journey along the winding road, passing through vast rubber plantations and dense tropical forests, all leading to the breathtaking scenery of Tri An Reservoir. Take some time to capture photos and soak in the panoramic views from this stunning vantage point.
Cruise along the serene Dong Nai River, immersing yourself in the rhythm of local life as you travel through vibrant fruit farms and lush rice fields via charming back roads.
Visit the Ma and Stieng ethnic villages in Talai commune, and then take a quick ferry ride across the river to reach Cat Tien National Park.
For those seeking a bit more adventure, an optional soft trek through the park’s natural beauty is available. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at a cozy riverside hotel in Cat Tien, where you can unwind in tranquility.
Day 2:Â Cat Tien motorbike tour to Mui Ne (180 km ~ 110 miles)
The day begins with the melodious songs of various birds. Breathe in the crisp, fresh air as you sip your morning coffee, taking in the natural splendor of the National Park.
Set off on your journey and enjoy a scenic drive through winding roads that lead you over the rolling hills to the highlands.
Follow road 55 toward the Dami Reservoir, where breathtaking views await. Along the way, immerse yourself in the charm of local life as you pass vibrant dragon fruit farms, expansive rice paddies, bustling family-run businesses, and traditional ethnic villages.
Travel along the picturesque coastal road to explore a colorful fishing village and a quaint ferry stream before reaching your hotel in Mui Ne.
Day 3: Mui Ne Motorbike tour to Vinh Hy Bay (180 km ~ 110 miles)
Day begins with the short ride along Mui Ne beach to the enormous white sand dunes with the option of renting a plastic sled or ATV to ride the dunes.
Cruise the open road through many sand dunes to Phan Ri, have a quick visit to Cana salt field and observe the lifestyle of local Vietnamese living.
The ride in the afternoon to Vinh Hy bay is spectacular and windy through many fishing villages, grapes farms and the picturesque Nui Chua reserved national park. Known as some of the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam.

Day 4: Vinh Hy Bay to Dalat (200 km ~ 124 miles)
Start the day with a refreshing ride to soak in the breathtaking views of Vinh Hy Bay. Pause occasionally to appreciate the stunning landscapes of Cam Ranh Bay and Thuy Trieu Lagoon.
Proceed to the central highlands via a secluded back road winding through Bidoup National Park. Along the way, visit the Raglai ethnic village, offering a chance to delve into their unique culture and daily life.
Journey along the twisting mountain pass, ascending for 30 kilometers into the entrance of the central highlands.
On the route to Dalat, take time to explore various plantations of tea, persimmon, and vegetables, where you can observe the local farmers as they cultivate and harvest their crops.
Reach Dalat before nightfall, known as the city of eternal spring.
Day 5:Â Da Lat – Lak Lake, Lien Son (160 km ~ 100 miles)
Depart and take a quick ride to one of Vietnams most unique hotels. Well known for its quirky architecture, the Crazy House
Cruise along the countryside viewing the variety of abundant agriculture such as vegetable farms, flower green houses, coffee plantations as well as a tour of the silk worm factory to observe the process of making silk
Visit the elephant waterfall
Following lunch, ride along the winding roads. Periodically stopping to relish the spectacular scenery in addition to visiting the local market and fishing village
Arrive at our final destination Lak Lake before dark where you may stay in a hotel or home-stay
Day 6:Â Lak Lake – Buon Me Thout City (130 km ~ 80 miles)
Relatively effortless day as not much time is spent on the bike
Time may be spent enjoying the Gia Long Waterfalls, riding elephants, canoe rentals, hiking, swimming or simply relaxing
Visit the typical Vietnamese villages of M’nong and Ede where you may learn about the culture and daily life of the towns people
After the morning activities. Embark on a quick ferry ride across the river followed by a bumpy however stunning ride through rice paddies, pepper farms and local villages
Lunch followed by a cruise to Dray Sap waterfall. Home to one of Vietnams many natural wonders the Dray Nu falls where we will spend the afternoon unwinding
Rooms are available at the falls or in Buon Me Thout City as this is our final destination for the day
Day 7: Buon Ma Thuot motorcycle tour to Kon Tum (240 km ~ 150 miles)
Depart and begin our ride to Chu Se with a visit to Buon Me Thout City, also known as the coffee capital of Vietnam
Along the ride we will stop and observe locals making rice noodles, incense, drums as well as cultivating mushrooms
Afterward, we begin our journey on the legendary Ho Chi Minh Road to learn about the fascinating period in history during the French colonization and Vietnam War
Lunch stop at Chu Se where you may indulge in some of Vietnam’s best rice and chicken dishes
After we ride to Pleiku City to visit Bien Ho Lake. Time is allotted to relax and savor the scenery, followed by the bumpy back road through ethic villages and rubber plantations
Continue north to Kon Tum where sites include a historical church, orphanage and museum as well as Konktu village, home of the stilt communal houses.
Stay overnight in Kon Tum.
Day 8:Â Kon Tum – Kham Duc (190 km ~ 118 miles)
Begin the day with a majestic ride through the hills and many ethnic villages
Along the way we will stop and visit the many historical sites such as Phoenix Airport, Challi Hill, the Ho Chi Minh Trail and much more where our guides will give information about some of the most ferocious battles of the Vietnam War.
After stopping at the local hot spring and passing over a suspension bridge we finish our 190k journey and arrive at our destination for the day, Kham Duc
Day 9:Â Kham Duc – Hoi An (160 km ~ 100 miles)
Continue navigating the Ho Chi Minh Road for a spectacular 160ks
Periodically stop at remote villages with time to observe the local culture
Tour a local pineapple plantation where you can enjoy the local harvest
Day includes a boat ride across a river to the ruins of My Son, a UNESCO site
Enjoy the beautiful countryside and local plantations as we ride to Hoi An arriving before dark
Day 10:Â Day of relaxation in Hoi An
Spend the day as you choose as there are infinite activities available in the fascinating city or beaches of Hoi An
Day 11:Â Hoi An motorbike tour to Hue (180 km ~ 110 miles)
Moving on from Hoi An we proceed to the fabled Marble Mountains known for its series of marble and limestone formations resembling a dragon
Make a stop at a view point of Da Nang and the stone carving village of Non Nuoc
Travel north along the coastal road offering some of Vietnams most outstanding landscapes to Da Nang and eventually the Hai Van Pass
Periodically stop for food, beverages and photos as well as a dip in the pools of Hai Van Pass’s Elephant Waterfall
Continue north to Hue. Our destination for the day, via the countryside roads
Day 12:Â Hue – Khe Sanh (200 km ~ 125 miles)
Spend the morning site seeing some of Vietnams great historical locations under the Nguyen Dynasty. Such as the UNESCO complex of the Hue monument as well as the ancient emperors’ scattered along the Huong River
Return to the Ho Chi Minh Road through the winding roads, to the mountainous district of A Luoi. Location to several US military bases during the Vietnam War
Site see and occasionally stop at Ashou Airport, Hamburger Hill and some of the Vietnam War’s bloodiest battle fields
After approximately 100ks of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Road, several remote villages, tunnels and superb landscape we arrive at our destination of Khe Sanh
Day 13:Â Khe Sanh – Phong Nha (220 km ~ 136 miles)
Embark north to the UNESCO site of Phong Nha National Park on a stretch of road widely considered by motorcycle enthusiasts as one of Southeast Asia’s greatest gems
After an early departure we will occasionally stop and site see more of the war relics located in Khe Sanh. Home of perhaps the single most horrific battle of the Vietnam War
Proceed to the Ho Chi Minh West Mountain Road enjoying the lack of traffic, jungle scenery, hidden villages, rivers, winding roads and at times the Laos border
Arrive at the UNESCO site of Phong Nha National Park for the night
Day 14:Â Phong Nha – Tan Ky (250 km ~ 155 miles)
Depart early for a morning boat trip to discover the daily life of the locals on the Son River and what is recognized as the world’s largest cave
Continue on the Ho Chi Minh Road appreciating the incredible landscape. As well as the historical Da Deo Pass and enchanting Cha Noi Valley
Following lunch, take the countryside road through the abundance of tea plantations and rice fields
Visit Nam Dan. Homeland and birth place to Ho Chi Minh
Arrive in Tan Ky where we will stay for the night
Day 15:Â Tan Ky – Mai Chau (200 km ~ 125 miles)
Today marks our farewell to the Ho Chi Minh Road as we journey through the picturesque farmlands in northeastern Vietnam.
Explore the renowned historical site of Lam Kinh, where you can delve into the legacy of King Le Thai To and the 15th-century Lam Son uprising.
Pause at the intriguing Cam Thuy Ferry Fish Stream to uncover the mysterious tale of the God Fish and immerse yourself in the rich traditions of the Muong people.
Take in the breathtaking scenery that unfolds along the way – lush rice fields, terraced farms, winding roads through undulating hills, and the distinctive charm of traditional Thai villages. We conclude the day by reaching Mai Chau, where we will settle for the night.
Day16:Â Mai Chau – Ha Noi (180 km ~ 110 miles)
Start the day early and soak up the fresh air and one of north Vietnam’s most majestic valleys
Continue north to the Thung Khe Pass through the alluring rice paddies and limestone views to Hoa Binh
Travel along the river, through the Bavi National Park to Son Tay
Visit the ancient village of Duong Lam with the opportunity to site see and explore the architecture. Narrow alleyways, temples and locals of this historical location
After lunch resume our ride along the Red River to our final destination. And conclusion of Vietnam Motorbike Tour adventure HCMC to Ha Noi
