MOTORCYCLE TOUR FROM DALAT TO HO CHI MINH VIA MEKONG DELTA

Day 1: Dalat motorbike tour to Lak Lake (160km)

  • Depart and take a quick ride to one of Vietnams most unique hotels, known for its quirky architecture, the Crazy House
  • Cruise along the countryside viewing the variety of abundant agriculture such as vegetable farms, flower green houses, coffee plantations as well as a tour of the silk worm factory to observe the process of making silk
  • Visit the elephant waterfall
  • Following lunch, ride along the winding roads, periodically stopping to relish the spectacular scenery in addition to visiting the local market and fishing village
  • Arrive at our final destination Lak Lake before dark where you may stay in a guest house or homestay

Day 2:  Lak Lake-Dray Sap watefall (120km)

  • Relatively effortless day as not much time is spent on the bike
  • Time may be spent enjoying the Gia Long Waterfalls, riding elephants, canoe rentals, hiking, swimming or simply relaxing
  • Visit the typical Vietnamese villages of M’nong and Ede where you may learn about the culture and daily life of the towns people
  • After the morning activities, embark on a quick ferry ride across the river followed by a bumpy however stunning ride through rice paddies, pepper farms and local villages
  • Lunch followed by a cruise to Dray Sap, home to one of Vietnam's many natural wonders the Dray Nu falls where we will spend the afternoon unwinding
  • Rooms are available at the waterfalls as this is our final destination for the day.

Day 3: Dak Mil - Dong Xoai (250km)

  • Depart and begin the day by visiting a cashew factory, get to know the processing of the biggest province of exporting cashew in Vietnam and opportunity to try some of the best cashew in area.
  • Followed by a spectacular ride via Bu Gia Map national park to the Vietnam-Cambodia border belt, get informed about Ho Chi Minh trail during the Vietnam war and some of the conflicts between two country dated back to the years of 1980s
  • Continue to Dong Xoai viewing the variety of abundant agriculture such as pepper and coffee plantations, cocoa farms
  • Overnight in Dong Xoai at a  guesthouse

Day 4: Dong Xoai - Ben Tre (200km)

  • Start early in the morning, cruise along the winding road through vast rubber plantations, enjoy the fresh air of the tropical climate to Saigon river, periodically stop by war memorials and local workshops
  • Take the quick small ferry across Saigon river to Cu chi followed by a visit to Cu Chi tunnels,  an expansive network of tunnels that played a crucial role in the Vietnam War.
  • Continue to My Tho - the entrance of Mekong Delta as we riding through the winding road along the dragon fruits farm, rice paddies and ferry boats crossing.
  • Relish the spectacular view of the upper branch of the Mekong river from Rach Mieu bridge then cruise to Ben Tre, the Kingdom of coconuts
  • Over night at a home stay in Ben Tre.

Day 5: Ben Tre - Can Tho (150 km)

  • Visit the Dragon island in the early morning to experience the local life and get the deeper understanding about their daily life in the waterways area and periodically stopping to learn the way the local people harvest and processing all the products and foods from coconuts.
  • Embark on a quick ferry across the lower branch of the Mekong river to Luc Si Thanh islet followed by narrow concrete path along the islet however stunning ride through many fruits farms and local villages.
  • Ride to Can Tho, the biggest city in Mekong Delta, you may take a walk to Ninh Kieu quay or central market the rest of the day.

Day 6: Can Tho – floating Market - motorcycle ride to Ho Chi Minh (180 km)

  • Wake up in the early morning for the motor boat ride to the famous Cai Rang floating market, contemplating the daily life before the sun rise as we visit some of the local family and cottage local industries.
  • Back to the hotel and pack up for the morning ride on the country side road to Xeo Quyt relic area in Dong Thap  province. Taking a small rowing boat slowly through small sleeks letting you discover the war zone cover by the diversified ecological green forests.
  • In the afternoon, we cruise on the back roads through many rice paddies and fruits farm back to Ho Chi Minh city
  • Motorcycle trip ends.
